I have taught at Sherburn Village Primary School for a number of years. I love working at a school that is at the heart of the local community. Prior to working at Sherburn I spent time teaching at two other Primary schools in Durham.

I have been subject leader for English, Modern Foreign Languages, Religious Education and Assessment and was Deputy Head at Sherburn Village.  I took over the headship at Sherburn Primary School in September 2014.

I am delighted to be part of the governing body, as our governors make a valued contribution to the life of the school. It is great to work with such a dedicated team of individuals who, along with the school staff, work tirelessly to ensure that the pupils have positive learning experiences.
