Shadforth WI

The WI has a proud history of taking action to protect the environment. Over the years the WI has cleaned up our beaches, stood up for the honeybee and campaigned for wide areas of special beauty. In recent times, this concern for our natural environment has seen members rally against climate change.  They work together during February and ask members to make and share green hearts to Show The Love for all they want to protect from climate change on Valentine’s Day.  The ladies from Shadforth WI have made a number of these hearts combined with a bird feeder and hung them from the school railings for parents to take home with them.  Please help yourself to one.
